The brand

Solange Azagury-Partridge is a modern luxury jewelry brand - and the name of its designer - which was founded in London in 1995. From a small boutique in Notting Hill, the brand became a cult hit with its irreverent, unconventional, and highly creative approach to jewelry design. Clients include Madonna, Rachel Weisz, Tilda Swinton and Jennifer Anniston.

The first piece of jewellery that Solange Azagury-Partridge ever made was her own engagement ring in 1987 - an uncut diamond embedded in a simple gold band. Based on an overwhelmingly positive reaction from friends, she set up in business and painstakingly learned the full craftsmanship of fine jewelry.

The talent of Solange Azagury-Partridge has been recognized not only by celebrities and customers, but also by the industry. She was recruited by Tom Ford in 2001 to be Creative Director at Boucheron, she has launched successful collaborations with H&M, she has worked with American Express Platinum, and also with non-profit charity, Red.

Pieces are housed in the permanent collections of the V&A Museum and of the Musée des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Solange's pieces are collectable, they are modern vintage.

The business

Following acquisition by LABELUX in 2008, the brand has opened stores on Madison Avenue in New York, LA and Singapore; the London store has also relocated to a flagship location on Bond Street. In addition to its retail presence, it maintains wholesale accounts with a selective list of clients.

The product portfolio includes rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and other jewelry innovations. It now also offers timepieces, as well as distinctive fragrances.

LABELUX is pursuing strong own-retail presence as part of the growth strategy and enabling capacity and operations to consolidate and grow. Solange Azagury-Partridge was previously privately financed.
